DTA Determination of Liquidus Temperatures and Al2O3 and Alf3 Content in Cryolitic Melts
Differential thermal analysis (DTA) of Na3AlF6-4CaF2-nAlF3-mAl2O3 (with 5 less-than-or-equal-to n less-than-or-equal-to 14 and 2 less-than-or-equal-to m less-than-or-equal-to 5) has been performed in closed nickel crucibles. Charts are constructed from the DTA curves, which allow the determination of the liquidus temperature and the composition of the sample.
