Thermal-Stability of Diazodinitrophenol
The stability of diazodinitrophenol in the solid phase has been investigated by four different thermoanalytical methods and by H-1 NMR spectroscopy. The results show that the substance is stable for long periods at temperatures below 60 degrees C. A kinetic relation has been developed, which permits the calculation of the degree of reaction at given storage temperatures and times.
