Thermogravimetric Studies on Temperature-Programmed Desorption of Probe Molecules from Dealuminated Clinoptilolite
Clinoptilorite was dealuminated by (NH4)(2)SiF6 solution. Three, four and five acid site types were determined by TPD of ammonia, pyridine and n-butylamine, respectively. Dealumination increased the relative amount of weak acid sites. Extraframework aluminium remained in the reaction product and lowered the accessibility of the strong acid sites.
