The thermodynamic parameters of the melting process, the kinetic parameters of the exothermic decomposition and the critical temperature of thermal explosion for 1,3,3-trinitroazetidine (TNAZ) were measured by using a microcalorimeter, a differential scanning calorimeter and a time-to-explosion testing apparatus. Information was obtained on its thermal behavior.
