Photocurrent Enhancement in a Cadmium-Sulfide Anode Coated with Prussian Blue
The photocurrent quantum efficiency of a polycrystalline cadmium sulphide anode in a KI + I2 solution is found to increase on the deposition of a thin film of Prussian blue. It is suggested that the Prussian blue film traps holes generated in cadmium sulphide and efficiently transfers to the redox species in solution.
