Metal-Films on a SnO2 Surface as Selective Gas Sensors
The effects of evaporated metal films on the surface of SnO2 sensors have been examined. The surface of tin dioxide was covered with Pt, Pd or Ag and the sensitivity to H-2, CO, CH4/air as a function of temperature was measured. The properties of these sensors were compared with the sensors fabricated by the impregnation method.
