Langmuir isotherms of a trivalent indium arachidate monolayer and its Langmuir-Blodgett deposition are reported. Transferred multilayers were characterised by Fourier transform infrared and X-ray diffraction measurements. Results indicate that the film consists mainly of arachidate salt in a layered structure.
