Microstructural properties of epitaxially grown FexMn1-x/Ir(100) superlattices studied by HREM
We report on the fine structure of FexMn1-x/Ir superlattices (SP) epitaxially grown on MgO(001) with various stoichiometries of the FexMn1-x alloy layers (0.3 < x < 0.9). These superlattices were studied by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HREM) on cross-sectional specimens, focusing our attention on the evolution of the structural features as a function of the alloy stoichiometry.
