Structural studies of epitaxial PbTiO3 films by optical second harmonic generation

Second harmonic generation has been applied for a structural study of thin epitaxial PbTiO3 films on a YBaCuO/SrTiO3 substrate. From the azimuthal anisotropic dependence the crystallographic orientation and the texturing parameters an obtained with a high accuracy.
