Influence of deuteration on the crystal structure of (NH4)(2)[Zn(H2O)(6)](SO4)(2)
The crystal structures of ammoniumzinc(II) sulfate hexahydrate and its deuterated analogue have been determined at 298 and 110 K. In marked contrast to the corresponding copper(II) compound, deuteration has no detectable influence on the crystal structure.
