The high-pressure, high-shear stress rheology of a polybutene
The shear rheology of a low molecular weight liquid polybutene has been studied under elevated pressure using the Couette geometry. Results can be described by a temperature and pressure shifted Carreau-Yasuda model. An interesting relationship was found between the model parameters and the temperature and pressure coefficients of viscosity. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
