Special requirements are placed on the materials employed in the sanitary and drinking water field. These materials not only have to permit innovations and reduce costs but must also be suitable for direct contact with drinking water. Use is made here of polyacetals and polyphenylene sulphide, as well as of glass fibre reinforced polybutylene terephthalate.
