Anti-complementary activity of endopolymers produced from submerged mycelial culture of higher fungi with particular reference to Lentinus edodes
The anti-complementary activity (immuno-stimulating activity) was tested for the endo-polymer (intra-cellular polymer) produced from submerged mycelial cultures of 21 types of higher fungi. Anti-complementary activity of endo-polymer from Lentinus edodes showed the highest (85%) followed by Flammulina velutipes (77%) and Phellinus linteus (71%).
