A review of literature correlations for flooding in a reflex condenser shows two dominant mechanisms; wave transport and droplet entrainment. Some methods cover only one mechanism, and there is significiant disagreement among existing methods. A new method is proposed, combining the two mechanisms using an asymptotic proration.
