The K-L reactor model for circulating fluidized beds
In this paper we present a model for determining the performance behavior of a CFB reactor. This model is nor sophisticated and does not require computer calculations, but is realistic and convenient for engineers engaged in the development of new processes. A number of parameters must be evaluated to use this model. This paper shows what they are; and thus suggests where future research of CFB should be. Four examples in the different flow regimes illustrate the use of this model.
