On condensation growth of oxide particles during gas-phase combustion of metals
The work predicts that the rate of the oxide particle growth during the gas-phase combustion of metals decreases abruptly when the growing particle reaches a certain size. The quantitative value of this size calculated in the work is in a satisfactory agreement with the experimentally observed sizes of oxides formed during the combustion.
