PRIMARY ENERGY SAVINGS THROUGH LOCATION INTEGRATION
The example of a location, where refinery intermediate products are prepared in two separate processes, is used with the help of the '' Pinch '' technique to show that an integrated optimization of the processes of the location leads to a considerable saving potential of primary energy compared to a separate optimization of the individual processes.
