Increasingly, those interested in the realization of energy-engineering plants claim compensations from each other. This negative development requires a thorough consideration of the liability claims and insurance-technical liability settlement at both, operators and suppliers of the installations. The objective of the article is to introduce the non-lawyer to these problems. starting at the agreement formulation, which defines the mutual claims of the interested parties, up to the behaviour of the interested parties in the case of damages.
