CERAMIC FILTERS FOR THE HOT GAS DESULFURIZATION .2.
The importance of hot gas desulphurization filters for the operation of gas and steam power stations (gas and steam turbines) was introduced in [1]. Task of the hot gas filters is the scrubbing of the coal gases from aggressive gaseous components (especially H2S) at high temperatures and pressures. For the realization of this task, material-scientific investigations were carried out. They are supposed to lead to improved service lives of the ceramic filters. In contrast to the filter systems (active layers on ceramized carrier matrix), described in [1], the components of the active layer with regard to the binding agent (clay) and the scientific surface of the active component (zinc oxide) were varied. Investigations on resulting modifications of the desulphurization behaviour of the ceramic filters are the subject of this paper.
