The determination of heat stresses in thick-walled structural members with the help of a temperature measuring point
Heat stresses are determined in power stations with the help of two-point temperature difference measurements. The first temperature measuring point is situated as closely as possible beneath the inner surface and the second one in the centre of the structural member. The article introduces a calculation procedure in which only the inner measuring point is used. Thereby one measuring point can be saved.
