Biogenic residual matter may serve as a contribution to the partial substitution of fossil fuels and hence reduce the CO2-emissions, as the technical and economical evaluation of different plant concepts shows, exemplified on the Municipality of Gelbensande in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
