Arenaceous foraminifera from the late Cretaceous of Gabon
Arenaceous Foraminifera are common in the Cretaceous oi Gabon, and dominant in the low stand turbiditic reservoirs deposited during the European Senonian. More than a hundred are here illustrated with their usual deformations. Two new species : Evolutinella ewongueensis n. sp., and Ammobaculites asseweensis n. sp, are described. The stratigraphic distribution of ail figured microfauna is presented from the Albian up to the Maastrichtian with the local biozonation.
