Variations in the Porous Structure of a Cr2O3/Al2O3 Catalyst by Coke Deposition
The porous structure of a Cr2O3/Al2O3 catalyst deactivated by coke deposition has been studied at various levels of coke content. The results obtained agree satisfactorily with a model of uniform coverage of the catalyst pores, thus allowing the hypothesis of pore blockage to be discarded under the conditions investigated.
