Surface tension of ternary solutions
A theory of the surface tension of ternary solutions is presented. It assumes different molecular sizes of individual components of the solution and takes into account intermolecular interactions both at the surface and in the bulk. The influence of these interactions on the surface tension behavior including the surface buffering effect and the surface phase transition is discussed.
