Hydrothermal synthesis and crystal structure of a novel two-dimensional vanadium oxide complex with a 6,14-net sinusoidal ruffling anionic layer: [Ni(phen)(2)V4O11] (phen=1,10-phenanthroline)
Two novel vanadium oxide nickel(II) complexes, Ni(phen)(2)V4O11 (1) and [Ni(phen)(2)](2)V6O17 (2) (phen = 1.10-phenanthroline), are synthesized hydrothermally. 1 has a unique two-dimensional layer constructed from the 6,14-net sinusoidal ruffling anionic layer (V4O11)(n)(2n-) and covalently bonded Ni(phen)(2) fragments.
