Advances in China’s refining and petrochemical catalysts, especially the catalysts that are related and developed by the China Petrochemical Corporation, the largest petrochemical enterprise group in China, are briefly introduced focusing on the catalysts for catalytic cracking, hydroprocessing, reforming, commodity organic chemicals, polyolefins, hydrogen production, etc. Prospects for China’s catalytic technologies and catalysts in the field of the refining and petrochemical industries around the rum of the next century are given.
