The use of wind power is characterized by high growth rates world-wide. In order to protect the climate by reducing CO2-emissions, the governments of the leading wind energy countries have initiated the boom by creating favourable economic conditions for wind power investments. However, the measures taken by these countries are different in strategy and success.
