Accurate approximate equations for intensive sub-sonic evaporation
The paper describes an approximate solution of the problem of intensive evaporation of a monatomic substance at a plane surface and with condensation coefficient equal to unity. The result is in the form of a set of algebraic equations which may readily be solved and is in excellent agreement with recent numerical solutions.
