A unified framework for calculating solid deposition from petroleum fluids including waxes, asphaltenes, hydrates and scales
A consistent approach to calculating the phase equilibria of solids, liquids and gases is presented. Examples of complex phase behaviour involving solid depositions from petroleum fluids are shown which have been calculated in this way. Important practical examples include cases where different solid phases are present and affect one another.
