Green element solutions of nonlinear diffusion-reaction model
The application of a hybrid numerical technique for the solution of the nonlinear diffusion-reaction equation is achieved by the Green element method (GEM). By discretizing both the boundary and problem domain, GEM is able to solve the whole system for the field variables and their derivatives. The case with which satisfactory results are obtained demonstrates the utility of GEM as a hybrid numerical technique.
