Measurement and correlation of solubilities of azo dyes and anthraquinone in supercritical carbon dioxide
The solubilities of azo dyes and anthraquinone in supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO2) were measured at 308.2, 318.2, and 333.2 K over the pressure range from 9.1 to 25.3 MPa by a flow type apparatus. Furthermore. it is attempted to correlate the solubility data of azo and anthraquinone dyes by using Soave-Redlich-Kwong equation state (SRK-EOS) with conventional mixing rules. The binary parameters required in the EOS to give the best fit with the experimental solubility data were correlated using pure-component properties for azo dyes and anthraquinone.
