활성탄에서 Freon-113의 흡착평형
Adsorption Equilibria of Freon-113 on Activated Carbons
초록
두 가지 활성탄에 대한 프레온-113(trichlorotrifluoroethane, CC12FCC1F2)의 흡착평형을 용량법으로 473 K의 진공에서 밤새 처리한 후에 298-473K에서 축정하였다. 흡착제로는 입상 활성탄(Norit B4, 20-40 mesh로 분쇄)과 섬유상 활성탄(KF-1500)을 사용하였다. 흡착온동의 증가에 따라 전체흡착량에 대한 가역흡착분율이 증가하였으며 473K의 흡착은 전적으로 가역이었다. 모든 등온선들은 I 형이었으며 이력현상은 관찰되지 않았다. Clausius-Clapeyron식으로 구해진 흡착열은 표면점유율에 상관없이 거의 일정하였다. 실험측정치를 BET상관식, Langmuir식, Dubinin-Astakhov식으로 해석하였다.
Adsorption equilibria of Freon-113(trichlorotrifluoroethane, CCl2FCCIF2) on two activated carbons were measured at 298-473 K by using a static adsorption apparatus. Granular activated carbon(Norit B4, crushed 20-40 mesh) and activated carbon fiber(KF-1500) were used as adsorbents. They were regenerated overnight at 473 K under vacuum condition before experiments. The portion of the reversible to the total uptake increased with temperature and the adsorption at 473 K was found to be completely reversible. All the isotherms obtained in this study were type I. They showed no apparent hysteresis. The heat of adsorption calculated from Clausius-Clapeyron equation remained nearly constant irrespective of the surface coverage. Experimental data were correlated by BET, Langmuir, and Dubinin-Astakhov equations.
