Adsorption Characteristics of Methyl Iodide on a Silver
Adsorption characteristics of gaseous methyl iodide on various silver ion-exchanged zeolites(AgX) at high temperature up to 380 ℃ were evaluated. Adsorption capacity of AgX increased with increasing temperature, compared to activated carbon and zeocarbon. Silver Content within the zeolite matrix are closely related to the adsorption capacity of methyl iodide. AgX of 10 wt% silver content represented the highest silver utilization for the removal of methyl iodide in the range of 150 ℃ to 200 ℃.
