Sliding mode compensation for windup and detection of control problems in two-ouput-two output proportional-integral controllers
The paper deals-with the problems of windup and change in the direction of control in multi-input-multi-output processes with actuator constraints. A sliding mode control is proposed to solve these problems for the case of two-input-two-output proportional-integral-controlled systems. The control strategy is based on the conditioning of the filtered references vector through a discontinuous action.
