(Vapour plus liquid) equilibria for the ternary system (benzene plus cyclohexane plus anisole) at p=101.32 kPa
Consistent (vapour + liquid) equilibrium data for the ternary system (benzene + cyclohexane + anisole) at p = 101.32 kPa are reported. The results indicate that the mixture deviates positively from ideality and that only the minimum binary azeotrope (benzene + cyclohexane) exists. The activity coefficients and boiling temperatures were correlated with literature equations. The UNIFAC group contribution method predicts adequately the non-ideality of this potential modified distillation entrainer into the (benzene + cyclohexane) environment.
