A drilling system that combines advanced composite coiled tubing (ACCT) and hydraulic workover (HWO) technology has been introduced. Use of composite pipe with embedded conductors allows the new drilling system to have uninterrupted real-time two-way communication with downhole tools. Inclusion of an HWO system as an integral part of the drilling unit expands the operating envelope and functionality of the system.
