Multilateral junction conductivity
Multilateral junction connectivity failures were identified as a recurring risk when deploying junctions with casing windows in unstable formations. A junction usually experiences a connectivity problem when unstable formations induce mechanical loads that allow solids to intrude and junction geometry to deteriorate. The full-length paper explores the main connectivity issues and redefines functional and technical requirements.
