Electrodeposition of antimony telluride
Synthesis of polycrystalline Sb2Te3 via electrodeposition was carried out for the first time. The influence of pH, temperature, deposition potential, and bath composition was investigated. The thin films were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction, energy-dispersive X-ray analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. Gradual shifts from the Sb2Te3 lattice structure to the Sb lattice structure were observed.
