The specific position of a group in the molecule has been considered and a group-vector space method for estimating boiling and melting points of organic compounds developed. Expressions for melting point T. and boiling point T have been proposed? with the numerical values of relative group parameters presented. The average percent deviations of estimation of T-m and T-b are 6.80 and 1.40, respectively.
