Synthesis and Structural Analysis of Chemically Modified Antimycotic Azoles-Chitosan Derivatives and Its Biological Effect as an Antifungal Agents
Chemically modification of chitosan is an important issue to allow its solubility and activity. 1,3-diazole system derivatives of chitosan are interesting biopolymers with constantly increasing number of applications in variety of fileds. 1,3-dioxolanyl chitosan has been obtained by reaction of a series of cis-[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-2-(1H-imidazole-1-ylmethyl)-1,3-dioxolane-4-yl]methyl p-aldehydephenylether with modified of (2-amino chitosan, oligochitosan and monogucosamine) to give a fully substituted derivatives, the resulting substituted chitin and chitosan was characterized by solubility in various solvent, with enabled facile preparation of chitosan solution. We considered chitosan derivatives were useful especially for antifungal drugs and industrial part. The chitosan derivatives are characterized by 1H-NMR, IR spectrum and These products were investigated for bioactivities.
