We observed oxidation ability among flavin models of synthesized benzodiputeridine derivatives bearing a bipyridine, metal ion, and mandelic acid. From these facts, activation of the substrate-combining site and activation of α-hydroxy acid of C-H and -OH of substrate combined by lowing pK_a are important about oxidation, and it is also important the position where can connect to metal.
