Influence of window and door position at the wall on the radiation heat exchange in relation to interior room surfaces
If reflected or emitted energy over the enclosure-room surface has not uniform characteristics, the surface should be divided into smaller areas of more nearly uniform characteristics. The influence of window and door position at the wall on the radiation heat exchange in relation to other interior surfaces of the room was considered by the interactive exchange of configuration factors. In the paper, the configuration factors for the considered surfaces an its parts were calculated by the presented mathematical model. For this purpose, an expression for determining the configuration factor between two unequal parallel rectangles with parallel edges was generated as well as the expressions for determining the configuration factors for a group of areas with uniform radiation characteristics and applied to observe the influence of a uniform group of areas and its position (window and door at the wall) on the radiation heat exchange in the room.
