Measurement of H-m(E) for {xCO(2)+(1-x)CS2} in the liquid region up to T=300.15 K and p=7.5 MPa
Flow calorimetric measurements of the excess molar enthalpy H-m(E) of {xCO(2) + (1 - x)CS2} made in the liquid region are described. The measurements were made at the pressure p = 5.0 MPa and the temperatures T = 250.15 and 270.15 K, and at the pressure p = 7.5 MPa and the temperatures T = 250.15, 290.15, 295.15, and 300.15 K. The measurements at p = 5.0 MPa and 250.15 K suggest that there is a region of partial miscibility between x = 0.17 and x = 0.8. The measurements at 270.15 K suggest that at this temperature there is total miscibility. The results are compared with the Patel-Teja equation of state.
