Control structure selection based on block-decentralized integral controllability
Block-decentralized controllers are of great importance in control applications when processes cannot be well controlled by multiloop controllers. In this paper, a new concept, block-decentralized integral controllability is defined and sufficient conditions based on the passivity theorem and the small gain theorem are derived. The numerical methods to examine these conditions are also presented.
