For the first time in Trinidad's onshore drilling history, a closed-loop chemically enhanced centrifuge - system. has been added to the solids-control system of a drilling rig. Dewatering has minimized waste and benefited drilling,operations on the Carapal 1 and Corosan 1 wells-in the Catshill field in Trinidad. A total of 4.6% of the well cost was saved through dewatering of drilling mud and waste.
