This paper is focused on on-line performance optimisation of gas turbine engine control systems. Practical problems of optimal engine control design and implementation are considered. An algorithm for on-line resolution of the engine control optimisation problem is proposed. The example of turbo-jet engine on-line specific fuel consumption minimisation is presented.
