Analysis of well-test responses in gas/condensate reservoirs
Single-phase analysis based on pseudo-pressure has been used extensively in the oil industry to analyze well-test data from gas/condensate reservoirs. However, the presence of a two-fluid system, which forms when the pressure drops below the dewpoint, requires advanced techniques to derive accurate skin values. This quantity contains mechanical, non-Darcy, and liquid-dropout components. Many remedial well treatments designed on such incorrect analysis result in poor treatment success.
