New identities for critical-point constraints with application to cubic equations of state
This work presents a new mathematical condition and procedure for application of the classical critical-point constraints for pure components. Although the condition applies to any EoS, the applications in this work are to cubic EoS. Using the generalized cubic EoS, we have developed algebraic equations that relate the critical Z-factor, Z(C), to the parameters in the particular cubic EoS. We then proceeded to examine particular equations with two to five parameters.
