고온연료가스정제를 위한 ZnO nano wire 합성에 관한 연구
A Study on the Synthesis ZnO Nano Wire for Hot-Gas Cleanup
The ZnO nano wire was formulated as the desulfurization sorbent for hot gas cleanup in this study. The sulfur compounds in the syn-gas corroded the gas turbine and fuel cell in the power generation process. Therefore, the sulfur compounds in the syn-gas must be removed. The ZnO nano wire was developed as the new concept desulfurization sorbent for ultra cleanup of syn-gas. This sorbent was formulated by nuclear growth mechanism of zinc at the high temperature (700 - 1000 ℃) and was consisted of the metal oxide wire of needlelike structure. The sulfur-absorption rate of two types ZnO, the nano wire type and the granule was investigated by Cahn balance. The nano wire type ZnO has high sulfur-absorption rate and the sulfur capacity than ZnO granule. From these results, it was confirmed that the ZnO nano wire can be applied for ultra cleanup of syn-gas.
