Effect of processing agents on physical properties of leather has been studied. It is tried to make the wet blue leather for upper more favorable for environment in the wet blue leather process by the use of low chrome and vegetable tanning agent. Surface treatment agents such as urethane binder is used in the finished leather process. The finished leather for upper is endowed with high hygiene in the finishing process by the use of antibacterial and deodorization agents. It is proved that the upper leather manufactured through these steps has the more improved physical properties. Also, the insole is endowed with high hygiene by the use of antibacterial agents. Leather and insole with these treatments are satisfied with the Korean Industrial Standard.
